I bought this really cool variegated lace weight yarn in all kinds of crazy colors and couldn't wait to use it. I knew I wanted to try it out in a lace pattern so I went back again to my trusty '50 Fabulous Knitted Lace Stitches' book by Rita Weiss. Same book that I used when finding a design for Sarah's Miserable Scarf so I was familiar with a number of patterns. Since this new yarn would make a stripe pattern when knit, I wanted to find a horizontal lace pattern. I tried many and chose this one, I don't remember which one it is. I ripped it out at the end of the day anyway because the lace pattern was getting lost in the colors...
