Took a journey to the little town of Big Rock to visit a yarn store that is owned by sheep farmers. Momma and I were expecting much more pre-made yarn to purchase, but I guess they specialize in the raw product. There was a lot of roving and felting kits to make little animals or flowers. I don't really get into felting. They offer classes in spinning and other methods, and I guess overnight accommodations, but the owner lady was a bit smothering. She wouldn't let us walk around and just look without telling stories about everything we touched. We spoke to the daughter who works with the sheep. The whole experience was not very enlightening, but I still walked away jealous. Anyone who can make their living by working with this craft is doing something right.
Day 12 complete
Had a little photo shoot with The Poof. He loves to knit.
