Pretty pissed that 110 yards of alpaca yarn that cost $19.95 wasn't enough to make a pair of mittens! I'm out of yarn for Jen's Scarf, out of yarn for my mittens, and out of yarn for Sam's Scarf so I did the next best thing to yarn shopping.... I started a new project! I recently purchased some black angora lace weight yarn at Wool & Co and decided that if I knit it together with the black and white variegated yarn that I started Sarah's Miserable Scarf with, I could make a new texture that would hold it's shape better. So using my trusty size 5 round needles I started the pattern that I bought a while ago at Wool & Co. It's a pamphlet and the pattern is named Babylon, designed by Laura Patterson. I bought it because it looked hard, but not hard enough that it wasn't possible. I decided I was up for the challenge. I started the pattern yesterday and it is so much freakin fun!!
