Beads are the coolest! I learned that I just need to slow down and make art. Not set knitting records. Yesterday was also my first day of doing Nupps. But the creator of the Advent Scarf included a link to youtube to show an easier way to make a Nupp and it works pretty well with a crochet hook. It just slows me down a bit. I guess I'm not appreciating being slowed down because I'm trying to play catch up since I'm 8 days behind. I also tried blocking for the first time. I'm just using the carpet in the basement, it's so ugly and doesn't add any beauty to the knitting, but the pins push into it ok. Here are photos of what was accomplished yesterday. I completed day one, and started day two, full of beads and Nupps! I'm using different shades of light pink beads and they don't show up very well in these photos, I'll get better pix tomorrow. It is so much fun! Still loving my new needles. I would have finished day two last night but my tummy really started to bother me and I think I had a fever.
